180NY (BIOS)

2018 – 2021 | 2 yrs

New York, NY

Head of Creative Development Oct ‘20 - Jan ‘21

Dir. Integrated Production Sept ‘18 - Sept ‘20

I lead Creative Operations and production at BIOS since joining in 2018. A start up agency within the TBWA network, its mission has been to test and prove a different way of producing content and developing creative work. Using social media as our primary tool, we built highly engaged organic communities by getting our brands to show up as authentic fans of the culture our consumers care about. We were particularly successful with Slim Jim’s Instagram account growing it from 10,000 to 1.3M followers within a year.

We did this primarily by leaning into trending content formats, cultural moments and developing influencer programs and PR worthy products and stunts.

Initially my role was to operationalize an agile model of integrating client teams into daily scrums to approve and produce content within hours or days.

Having grown the team from 4 to 12 pax, my role then expanded to creative partner of the business overseeing all aspects of the work and agency operations. In addition to expanding and managing the team, I was able to help stand up a new agency offering called 180Made the fabrication and art production studio for the agency.
